It ran on a CMS called Big Tree.
I've never met anyone who has heard of it.

Web, Email, Social

In seven years at the Chrysler Museum of Art my job evolved from code-heavy to content-heavy. With a lot of work done on an off-brand CMS, extra-effort pages were coded by hand. Click to enlarge.

You're invited to peruse my resume, a portfolio that doubles as an illustrated work history, and a love letter on email. I did a short essay on a dream job title and an essay on why knowing code still matters is almost ready to post. For now, start here.

Shoot, Design, Code

The page shown below was the last thing I did for the museum. I worked a weekend of free overtime then got laid off on Monday. Glass art is fun and it's easy to try. Click image to enlarge.

Content Creation

My success came from understanding the Chrysler Museum as a brand with attributes, not a temple related to the religion of art. Ninety-two percent of the general public won't even consider going to an art museum.

In a way, it was fairly easy to know how to sell an art museum in different ways to different people. My job before the museum was selling cars online. How's that for a diverse work history? I've been involved in online marketing for everything from credit cards to flowers, satellite internet to architectural products. In the web world, it's learn fast and learn constantly or go home.
